Camel hair brush shedding?

I am using camel hair brushes on a watercolor and it is shedding quit a bit. Is this normal and will it eventually stop?

Many brushes made of “Camel hair” (which is actually pony or horse hair) are not good quality, due to the inferior type of glue used. Sadly, it probably will continue to shed.

If you prefer a natural hair brush, look for Sable. Also, many of the higher-priced Gold Taklon (dyed Nylon) brushes perform nearly as well as sable. Buy the best brush you can afford.
