Well, this hasn't aged well since kids probably rarely do any homework on actual paper these days since everything has been going more and more digital. But, the cartoon is showing the rainforest on the left and on the right it's saying not to do homework, implying that by not doing your homework you're helping the environment by not wasting as much paper.
